Da Capo Winds is a friendly training band for adults and children based in Yateley (North East Hampshire).  At the heart of the band is our weekly musicianship training sessions which are all Kodály based and led by our Music Director - Len Tyler.

The British Kodály Academy is a registered charity working for the improvement of music education in the UK, and has been running training courses since 1983. The BKA currently runs an annual programme of courses and activities for people wanting to develop their own musical skills, or to teach music to others, using principles advocated by Zoltan Kodály.

Colourstrings was the first to offer music education from a very young age in the UK. In Finland (where it all started) it has been a core part of the state music education for more than thirty years and is now an internationally respected way of teaching music to children.  It is an extension of the Kodály philosophy.  Many local education authorities in Britain are now introducing Colourstrings into their schools.

The Kodály Centre of London was set up in 1992 and is run by David and Yoko Vinden who both trained at the Kodály Institute in Kecskemét, Hungary. The centre provides weekly classes in Kodály musicianship at three levels. As well as providing classes David and Yuko can give workshops to order for Music Services, individual schools, colleges and Universities.

The International Kodály Society is active in 34 countries and has Affiliated National Organizations in 16 countries. It was founded in 1975 in Kecskemét, Hungary. Its purpose is the world-wide propagation of the musical, educational and cultural concepts associated with Zoltán Kodály for the benefit of music generally and in particular for the educational advancement of youth. The Society serves as an international forum for all who are active in the spirit of the Hungarian master as composer, scholar and educator.

The mission of the Organization of American Kodály Educators is to enrich the quality of life of the people of the USA through music education by promoting the philosophy of Zoltán Kodály.

The Kodaly Music Education Institute of Australia is a community of music educators who are inspired by the educational and aesthetic philosophies of the Hungarian composer Zoltan Kodaly. Our members seek to adapt his ideas to create programs of excellence for Australian children. As a professional association, KMEIA upholds the highest standards of music education through supporting and resourcing Australian music teachers.
